Looks like I might be in a Karazhan running guild soon. The Guild Leader is starting to trim the fat, and organize the guild for life at 70. The first goal is Karazhan, so people will need help getting keyed. Looks like I'll be going back to Steamvaults...
Oh, and I got suckered into becoming an officer. I just had to open my mouth and provide intelligent, relevant advice about the game. That kind of talk tends to stand out, especially when most of Guild Chat is referring to smoking pot.
I can deal with being an officer again. I can use my influence to try to get at least one raid on a night where I can actually attend. Even if I wasn't an officer, I think the GL would have to run something for me because of the small number of tanks in the guild. Being a tank has some serious benefits in the BC world.
I haven't been playing as much this week. I've been working on some projects around the house, and have only played WoW after work. I have been running some AV for Honor, and farming leather. My Leatherworking is stuck at 373, and I have no orange patterns to guarantee a skill up. I'm going for the Epic PVP belt to fill a big hole in my DPS gear set. I hope to offtank/DPS in Kara down the rode, so I need to get my Kitty gear up to snuff.
Finally, I'd just like to say that I am amazed and proud of the small explosion of brand new WoW blogs. I have a nice long list of sites to add to my blogroll, so hopefully I will get around to that soon. If you have a new WoW blog, then please drop me a comment. I will make sure to add you when my next round of updates is made.

Woah, you're back, and with big news!
Grats on guild officer -- hope that goes well.
I'm hoping our guild will mature into a Kara-capable guild, but we have some gelling and gearing to do first.
Keep us posted!
hi,
my 2 cents about leatherworking 370+ :
i craft only http://www.forgeonyxia.be/index.php?idart=9&page=detail&ob_id=25697 this thing, and i took me only 7 crafts to get from 370 to 375. I know it's a hard craft, but it's imo easier and less irriting to craft 7 heavy crafts than 30 green ones. (excuse the link in french, i dunno the name of it in english, it a recipe you can have in the peninsule, honored with the faction "Bastion de l'honneur").
I playing druid too, healer in my guild, we went to the chess event when we raid, 2 nights per week. My profile (even if i'm restau you might be interest in my spec tree, who knows ? :) ) and i hope you can have as much fun as we hacve in Kara, which is a very cool instance.
see you !

Grats on your promotion, I guess, you sorry bugger. Myself, I find it's a good idea to periodically pop bottles of Noggenfogger until I get the shrinking effect, then run cicrles around everyone squeaking "help me! help me!". Guarantees that nobody's ever gonna trust me in a position of reponsibility. But to each his own I guess.
Since you asked, I occasionally write down some notes on my experiences as I travel the worlds, vanquishing the forces of Evildoers What Don't Pay Me. It's pretty casual, nothing about whether this dagger is better than that polearm or how many shadow priests you should have when you storm the Black Temple. But if you felt like adding it to your blogroll, well, that'd probably make Mamma Ratshag real proud.
Just made a blog myself... tankhealer.blogspot.com
Reading your and others as well.
Sorry for the double-post, but ISTM that the explosion of new blogs may be an indication of the new generation of WoW addicts who are replacing the old guard who are quitting and loudly proclaiming the end of WoW. My own guild has many members who have only been playing a few months and are always on, and others who have played for a couple of years or more and you don't see them on much anymore. I even ran into a guy not long ago who had left "old WoW", but came back and just loved TBC (he seems to be online all the time). I don't know about anyone else, but I'm hoping that there is no new expansion anytime soon. I don't want to pile up a new set of epics only to see them replaced by expansion greens, again... I'm not quite ready for that, yet.
I'm an old school Everquest endgame veteran and long-time WoW player. My recent stint into blogging was inspired by Coriel's Blessing of Kings and your blog.
As always, a good read.
Just promise me you won't burn out... I like reading your blog!
Nice... I like reading your blog. I use to have a blog though not World of Warcraft however it became too tedious updating new stuff to it after I started palying World of Warcraft... hahaha..
