June Wrap Up

My Real Life continues to be rather hectic, but my WoW life has become somewhat boring. I'm not bored with WoW, but nothing exciting has been happening to my character. I run instances. I farm materials for Leatherworking. I finish quests. Nothing to cause a sense of wonder. Nothing to cause extreme frustration. No random, infuriating idiots ruining my game experience. Hmmmm, maybe I shouldn't complain so much?

I keep running the same two instances: Steam Vaults and Shadow Labyrinth. I keep increasing my reputation, but I never see any good drops. I am becoming a decent tank, but my gear does need some improvement. I need to get a few more defensive items in order to start adding some better offensive stats. I feel like I would be a stickier tank if I was hitting harder and more often. I usually do a more than adequate job, but I'm thinking about Karazhan and Heroic Instances.

I have discovered one aspect of tanking that I do not enjoy... I really hate pulling. I have made a few bonehead pulls, and have had to apologize for causing wipes. I hate feeling embarrassed about what goes on in a video game, but there is nothing worse than knowing you caused a wipe.

My guild seems to be coming together, and I have some more company at level 70. I've been running a few things with a resto shammy, and he heals very well. Earth Shield + Improved Leader of the Pack = Awesomeness. There are several more guildies in the high 60s, so I could be looking at some all guild action very soon.

Which is very nice because I want to run some of the harder Outland instances. I've been gun shy about joining Botanica, Arcatraz, Shattered Halls, or Black Morass groups. The reason? Running Mechanaar has always seen me grouped with impatient players (Ok, so I found a few people that pissed me off). These inconsiderate idiots are not willing to give me the time I need to set up pulls. They also do not do anything about their excessive aggro, and blame me for anything that goes wrong. I can deal with crappy PUGs when I know the instance. I have problems when the instance is new, and I have not set foot in any of the four instances I listed. I look forward to running more things with some friends at my back.

A few final updates: 2.7K Gold to my name right now, almost Revered with the Lower City, 11K Rep needed for my Earthwarden, 21K Armor, 410 Defense, 13.7K health, 20% dodge. I'm getting there, I'm getting there.

Thanks for the update!

My feral druid finally hit the Outland, and actually jumped from 57 to 59 in a single day!

But there is a long road ahead. I can say with assurance, though, that druid is far more flexible and durable than either my warrior or shadow priest at the same level.
